Finding a Creative Inexpensive Venue
1. A backyard
2. The park (small fee)
3. The beach (Might need a permit, small fee)
4. A restaurant
If you choose the backyard, the park or the beach these are the things you'd have to rent for a 75 guest wedding with the average amount for each.
1. Tent - average $150
2. Tables - eight tables that seat ten $64
3. Chairs (usually $1) - 80
4. Linens for tables (rent online)- $64
5. China - $150
6. Catering for 75 people (buffet style)- $750
For a grand total of $1258 (these prices might vary by state), that's almost $1000 less. Be creative and learn to negotiate, but if you can't, grab that family member that always embarrasses you by asking for a better deal, you'll thank them!

How soon should I order my Wedding Dress?
Simple wedding ideas!
This also applies to the dress. If you are getting married in a backyard, park or beach, be sure to choose a wedding dress that will also compliment the venue. Don't wear an extravagant gown if everything around screams simplicity.

Weddings on a Budget 5 "quick tips"
2. If you do get a reception hall, Do a buffet style, instead of serving the food. it will bring the price per person way down.
3. Choose candles instead of flowers for your centerpieces. Flowers can take a big portion of your budget. But if you decide to use flowers, use a lot of filler along with the flowers to bring down costs.
4. Instead of hiring a DJ, use a lap top with downloaded music and some speakers. You'd be surprise to learn that this is what DJ's are using nowadays. if you don't have a lap top, borrow one from a friend.
5. Do you have an artistic friend that's good with photography? ask them to take the pictures of your special day as a gift to you. Be careful with this though, if there's something that might be worth paying for is your pictures and video, these will be your memories.

Wedding Themes
Personalize Your Wedding with a Theme
By: Jean Neuhart
Considering incorporating a theme into your wedding but are concerned over how time consuming or more expensive having a theme may be? Don’t despair, having a theme wedding is easier than you think.
Where to start – The theme should suit both you and your fiancĂ©. Think about what you do together in your spare time. Are you into literature? Do you love to travel or go to the movies? Follow the NASCAR circuit? Even the season when you’re getting married can suggest a theme. After you’ve chosen a theme, think about how much you want to incorporate it into your ceremony and reception.
Having a theme wedding doesn’t necessarily equate to being more expensive. The different elements which go into a wedding – ie. favors, centerpieces, music, cake – are present regardless of whether or not there is a theme. Decide if you want to go subtle with just a few theme-related elements, or go all out. Into literature? Select a beautiful love poem (you can’t go wrong with Browning, Barrett or Shakespear), for your ceremony reading. Give bookmarks as favors. If you love to travel, instead of using numbers, name each guest table after a different location you’ve visited, or plan to visit. For a sea/beach theme, forgo the mints wrapped in tulle by treating your guests to chocolates shaped like seashells. (For the budget-minded, use do-it-yourself candy molds and prepackaged candy mixes). For an Autumn Harvest theme, decorate with bowls of apples, stalks of corn, pumpkins, gourds and pressed leaves.
What remains after the wedding day are the memories, and the photos and video when those memories begin to fade. However because of having a theme, memories will fade slower because of the uniqueness. Your guests tend to remember something for a longer period of time if there is something different about it. After the planning is done and your wedding day comes together, your guests will be delighted at taking part is something different, yet very much reflects you and your groom.
