When you decide to make that purchase for the perfect wedding gown for your upcoming nuptials, be sure to do your homework on the Bridal Shop that you decide to choose. If you are one to do your research you would find horrible review stories of brides treated poorly, wedding gowns not showing up in time, bridal shops not communicating and the list goes on and on. Here are some things to keep in mind:
1. First impression is everything. If you walk in to a bridal store and you are not even acknowledged by the staff that might be a sign that they don’t really care. The exception to the rule here is if all the staff is actually working with other clients and don’t want to be rude. But you should still get a “hello, please give me a few minutes” from someone.
2. If the staff at the bridal store doesn’t ask what your needs are and helps you find and pull some gowns for you to try on then they don’t deserve your business. They should be there to help the bride.
3. If the bridal store is pushy to make a sale. Sometimes they will tell you how beautiful a wedding gown looks on you even though it is not flattering to your figure.
The bridal store you choose should be friendly, courteous, helpful and easy to deal with. Customer service should be one if not the number one priority for them. If you are considering purchasing your wedding gown from them the least they can do is be nice. They should be honest as to what looks good on you without being rude or insulting you. Make sure you keep an eye for the signs I listed above before you decide to buy your wedding dress.
